Armagnac is the oldest spirit in the world, used as a medecine in former times it has been distilled and appreciated since 1411. Silver medal at the 2004 International Spirit Challenge in London, the VSOP Baron de Sigognac is a Bas Armagnac grown on sandy soils in the heart of the Bas Armagnac where one finds Domaine de Bordeneuve. Spending six months in new oak followed by a seven year period in old oak, it has noble flavours and is very pleasant on the palate.
