Silver medal at the 2004 International Spirit Challenge in London, the VSOP Baron de Sigognac is a Bas Armagnac grown on sandy soils in the heart of the Bas Armagnac where one finds Domaine de Bordeneuve. Spending six months in new oak followed by a seven year period in old oak, it gives us noble flavours and is very pleasant on the palate. Nose fine and rich: aromas of quince, fresh plums and hints of vanilla. Supple and elegant in the mouth, with a fresh and fruity finish.
