Courvoisier Vs Cognac

Legend Has it that Napoleon held Emmanuel Courvoisier's cognac in such high esteem that he took with him hundreds of bottles to enjoy during his years in exile. Courvoisier VS is aged in selected oak barrels to give a fruity, delicate taste with a bouquet suffused with ripe fruit and spring flower. The aroma is rich, fresh and oaky balanced with the vigour of a young cognac. The finish is short but very intense and as powerful as the aroma.

Hennessy V.S. is a blend of the finest cognacs and Richard Hennessy established his company in 1765. Aged up to 8 years, the cognacs are brought to maturity in new Limousin French oak casks that yield the power of their first tannins to give birth to a old aromatic cognac.  Full bodied with a pronounced aroma of oak and hazelnuts, a bold yet harmonious blend reminiscent of robust spice and fruit flavours, punctuated by fruity notes and delicate trace of vanilla.

Hine Rare Fine Cognac VSOP

Rare VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac, a blend of Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs, with at least 50% coming from the Grande Champagne district. A blend of more than 25 cognacs, the youngest of which has aged over 4 years. Its bouquet displays fruity and floral aromas but it has a surprisingly mellow and delightfully smooth. Leyrat XO Vieille Reserve Cognac

Old gold in colour. A complex nose opens with nutty aromas, pastry and butterscotch and a hint of dry leaves. The nose evolves to more pronounced dry fruit and nuts with vanilla undertones. The palate is present and initially quite dry with the long clean finish typical of Leyrat cognacs.

Maxime Trijol XO Cognac

The Maxime Trijol family originally settled as growers and distillers in St Martial Sur Né, in the heart of the Cognac region. Their first alambic still was installed in November 1859, and in 1962 they became professional distillers.  This definitely mature cognac comes in a dark amber colour with flashes of mahogany. Spicy notes now flatter the palate, backed by the lingering memory of floral touches.

Ragnaud Sabourin Grande Champagne VSOP

The Ragnaud-Sabourin family are growers and also own 50 hectares of vineyards in the Grande Champagne region. VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) - a blend in which youngest brandy is aged at least four years in cask. However, in this case Alliance No.10 signifies a blend of cognacs at least 10 years old. It is golden yellow in colour with pleasant touches of vanilla and old port on the nose. The palate is smooth and mellow and, after maturing in wood, the aromatic features of the Cognac mellow out and the Cognac takes on a soft vanilla colour.

Remy Martin VSOP Cognac

In 1724 Remy Martin, a young winegrower in the Cognac region, founded his company. In 1972 the iconic VSOP bottle is launched, helping it become the world's best-selling cognac. All barrels are made exclusively from French Limousin Oak, which contributes to the aromatic development of the blended eux-de-vie. Predominantly vanilla, with a hint of liquorice. The roundness of summer fruits, especially ripe apricots and peaches with the impertinance of wild flowers, particularly violets.

Remy Martin XO Excellance

In 1724 Remy Martin, a young winegrower in the Cognac region, founded his company. All barrels are made exclusively from French Limousin Oak, which contributes to the aromatic development of the blended eux-de-vie. This makes XO Cru a fine blend offering strength, intensity and elegance, floral aromas of jasmine and violet are joined by tobacco and leather spicy notes and plum fruit aromas.
