Gin

Gin

Gin gets its name from genievre, the French for juniper as the main botanical.
Gin is produced from high strength neutral spirit, predominantly grain spirit and botanical flavourings with juniper as the prominent nuance. Gin distillers either macerate the botanicals for approx. 48hrs before distilling or suspend the botanicals in the still during the distillation process.
Various styles of Gin have evolved of the years including London Dry Gin, Plymouth Gin, Old Tom and Dutch Genever gin with the distillers closely guarding their secret recipes.

Bombay Sapphire Gin

Bombay Sapphire Gin

Based on an authentic 1761 recipe, Bombay Sapphire is a peerless, versatile spirit carefully crafted to create a complex, layered taste. Bombay Sapphire uses a combination of 100% vapour infusion process and 10 carefully selected botanicals sourced from all around the world. These botanicals are combined in such a way so as no one botanical flavour over powers another. This produces a well balanced gin which is different from most others. Bombay Sapphire is distilled in rare Carterhead Stills, which gently heat only the purest neutral grain spirit. The vapour form of this spirit passes through the 10 botanicals, infusing their various aromas and flavours into the spirit. This delicate, artisanal process creates a crisp, delicately balanced gin. Bombay Sapphire's contemporary design and incomparable taste combine to set it apart from other gins.
