Created in 1896 by Armando Vaccari and still sold in its distinctively tall, slim bottle. The drink is dedicated to a soldier, Guiseppe Galliano who defended a fort during the Italian invasion of Abyssinia for 44 days. Made from 40 herbs and botanicals; used in the Harvey Wallbanger cocktail. Including anise, licorice and vanilla flavours.
