Ardbeg Islay 10Year Old Whisky

The Ardbeg distillery was established in 1815 and stands on the rocky headland on the Scottish island of Islay. Ardbeg Ten Years Old is a very special bottling for the Ardbeg distillery as it is the first non-chill filtered whisky in the Ardbeg range. The light gold liquid has an aroma of toffee and chocolate and the palate is classically peaty and smoky.

Auchenstoshan 12Year Old Malt Whisky

Now on the outskirts of Glasgow, when the distillery was first built in 1823 it was some miles from the city. It is a traditional Lowland malt in that it is triple distilled, in fact it's the only Lowland Distillery left that triple distills.This award winning  fruity Lowland Malt is triple distilled to give an extra smooth Single Malt renowned for its soft delicate character;  with the tempting aroma of toasted almonds and caramelised toffee.

Balvenie Double Wood 12Yr Old Malt

This is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. During maturation it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill Spanish oak sherry cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt - the traditional casks, having previously held bourbon, soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour. It has a smooth and mellow single malt of combined flavours, nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicate layer of sherry, with along and warming finish.

Crafted by Balvenie Malt Master David Stewart to mark his 45th year in whisky making. The Balvenie Signature 12 Year Old is a skilful marriage of three casks - first fill bourbon barrels, refill casks and sherry butts. This is a mellow polished whiskey.

Balvenie Single Barrel 15Yr Old Malt

The Balvenie Single Barrel Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single bourbon cask of a single distillation. With 350 bottles for one cask, each one forms a limited edition of hand-numbered bottles. Each cask is subtly different, however, The Balvenie Malt Master selects for bottling only those casks that have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel - particularly honey, vanilla and oaky notes. The taste is complex and rich with a honeyed maltiness with vanilla oak flavours. Its silky, rich and complex, a stunning mix of red jelly fruit, guava, orange peel and honey.

Bowmore 12Year Old Malt Whisky

Bowmore Distillery, one of the oldest in Scotland has stood on the shores of Loch Indaal, on the Hebridean Island of Islay, since 1779. The famous Bowmore Vaults are where Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky spends nearly all of its life resting quietly in the damp cellars below sea level - the Spanish and American Oak Casks into which it is filled, imparting rich and mellow flavours to the maturing whisky. Medium-bodied, warm gold malt. Smokiness balanced by heather honey sweetness. Chocolate, pears, citrus bouquet.

Bruichladdich Peat Malt Whisky

On the west side of Loch Indaal, facing Bowmore, Bruichladdich Distillery is the only independent Islay distillery, and is managed by one of the whisky worlds best known characters Jim McEwan. Matured in bourbon casks. Lightly peaty, grain mash sweet and just a touch salty - as tangy tastes of sea breeze, unsweetened coconut and oak resin unite.

Caol Ila Distillers Edition

Caol Ila (pronounced 'cull-eela'), is considered to be one of the lighter of the Islays. Medium-bodied with a rounded flavour. Pale in colour with a greenish tinge. This malt has a peaty nose, with distinct floral notes. It is described as tasting slighty of seaweed/iodine, lightly medicinal, smoky, salty, sweet with a dry peppery finish. Caol Ila is hidden in a quiet cove near Port Askaig. Many consider this locality to be the wildest and most picturesque of the island. Situated on Loch Nam Ban, the site is ideal thanks to the abundant supply of good water. Caol Ila (Gaelic for 'the Sound of Islay') was built in 1846 by Hector Henderson - a Glasgow businessman with a keen interest in distilling.

Clynelish Distillers Edition Malt Whisky

Clynelish single Highland malt is yellow gold in appearance, with a sweet, floral, slightly waxy nose, and maritime hints on the palate. The finish is dryish, with a slightly salty aftertaste. Aged in oak casks for 14 years. Clynelish is situated on the north-east coast of Scotland, between Inverness and Wick and takes its name from the Gaelic for cultivated land – or farm. It was founded in 1819, on a farm, by the then future Duke of Sutherland. The barley is still malted in the northern Highlands, while the water continues to be piped down from the Clynemilton Burn to the distiller.

Cragganmore 12Year Old Malt Whisky

Cragganmore, founded by the legendary John Smith in 1869, is for many the definitive Speyside malt. Cragganmore has a complex fruity, toffeed style, being mostly from refill sherry casks. Mature and well balanced, with a fragrant aroma, the slight fruitiness on the palate is overlaid with sweet, smoky notes with hints of sandalwood.

Dalmore 12Year Old Malt Whisky

The pure waters of the River Alness are used to produce The Dalmore, producing some of Scotland's very finest Single Highland Malt whiskies. This malt has its own unique character. Intense and firm. Well structured with silky smooth malty tones - a hint of Oloroso sherry lingers in the background. It shows great finesse, extolling fragrances of orange, marmalade and spiced notes.

The source, Lochan an Doire-Uaine, (Gaelic for "lake in the green grove"), lies at 2,000 feet in the Drumochter Hills. Glenfarclas 10 Year Old Malt Whisky

Glenfarclas Distillery was built in 1836 by a tenant farmer by the name of Robert Hay. When Robert Hay died in 1865, the distillery was taken over by John Grant. This whisky has been Matured in Oloroso sherry casks. A straw-gold , delicately light, sweet and malty, leaving a long slightly spicy finish.

Glenfarclas '105' Cask Strength

The Grant family have been running Glenfarclas since 1860, producing an individual Speyside malt that many whisky enthusiasts number as one of their favourites. The 40th Anniversary Limited Edition is dark and mysterious in colour, with a beautifully sweet nose, and hints of toffee and sherry.

Glenkinchie 12 Year Old Malt Whisky

The distillery was founded between 1825 and 1833 by the brothers George and John Rate, it was originally named Milton Distillery. Matured in American oak bourbon casks with some finishing in Amontillado sherry butts for the distillers edition. Known as the ‘Edinburgh Malt’, this is a Lowland whisky, with floral and grassy characteristics, a fine balance of sweetness and dryness and a fragrant finish. Glenkinchie Lowland Malt has a light delicate nose and a fresh, clean aroma.

The flagship of the Glenmorangie range is realised only after a decade in American Mountain Oak casks from where the unique flavour of Glenmorangie is fully developed. Its colour is bright with a hint of pale blue, its aroma is light, delicate and floral with a subtle smokiness for a well balanced, fresh and aromatic flavour.

Sherry casks, from Jerez de la Frontera in Andalucia in southern Spain which produce the sensually smooth creamy sherry, are imported to the Scottish Highlands by Glenmorangie where they are filled with Original single malt whisky until it takes on the delicate nuances of taste and a rich golden russet clarity.. This is an elegant and full bodied single malt whiskey matured for a minimum of ten years in ex boubon casks.

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban Malt Whisky

Glenmorangie has existed as a distillery since 1843 when William Matheson bought a license to make whisky on the site of a brewery located near the Tarlogie Springs in Ross-shire in the highlands of Scotland. A remarkable malt, antique gold in colour: golden but with a rosy hue. This whisky has been matured for at least 12 years in American white oak casks and racked for several years into Ruby Port pipes for 'finishing'. Add a drop of water and the aromas you get predominate with butterscotch and dark chocolate. But there are also fresh minty notes and a certain dryness a bit like lint.

Highland Park 12Year Old Malt Whisky

Highland Park, one of only two distilleries in the Orkney Isles, is the world's most northerly whisky distillery. It was founded in 1798 by Magnus Euson. Made from the best barley malted over peat fires; merged with the unique spring waters of the island; and aged in casks for a minimum of twelve years that shape its rare and very distinctive character. It has a balanced smokiness, sweetness, heathery and a hint of sherry and has a medium body and exceptionally smooth rounded smoky finish. Inchgower 14 Year Old Malt

Inchgower distillery stands close to the sea on the mouth of the River Spey near Buckie.Established in 1824, Inchgower produces one of the most distinctive single malt whiskies in Speyside.It is a malt for the discerning drinker - a complex aroma precedes a fruity,spicy taste with a hint of salt in the finish.

Isle Of Jura 10Year Old Malt Whisky

This excellent single malt from the pretty Isle of Jura, whose distillary was originally built in 1810 and was rebuilt in 1876, is a unique whisky showing light and fruity flavours with a floral note. Firm, distinguished, elegant tones. A fruity oiliness with just a hint of smoke gently enriches the palate.

Lagavulin 16Year Old Malt Whisky

Lagavulin one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, with production dating back to the early 1700s. Distiller's edition, finished in Pedro Ximénez casks, as well as 25- and 30-year-old varieties. A recent 21-year-old bottling, matured solely in first-fill sherry casks, has been extremely well received by enthusiasts. Macallan Sherry Oak 10Yr Old Malt Whisky

The Macallan has been distilled by craftsmen on the same estate in particularly small, hand-beaten copper stills and, whilst other distillers no longer insist on using oaken sherry casks, whilst at Macallan at Craigellachie in the Speyside region, this costly tradition is maintained. Beautifully balanced, complex Macallan with hints of fruit and heather honey.

Monkey Shoulder Triple Malt Whisky

Monkey Shoulder uses only malt Scotch whisky from three of Speyside's finest distilleries. This triple malt makes it ideal for mixing as well as drinking in the more traditional way. Monkey Shoulder is inspired by and named in honour of the malt men at William Grant, who are among the few still to turn the malting barley by hand using a sheil (wooden shovel). Monkey Shoulder was a nickname that was given to a temporary injury some malt men occasionaly suffered many years ago as a result of repeatedly bending over whilst turning the malt. Crafted in small batches of just 27 casks, Monkey Shoulder's smooth and rounded taste has accents of malty sweetness, vanilla, marmalade and barley sugar. This whisky has a distinctive design on the bottle's shoulder showing three brass monkeys, each representing one of the constituent single malts.

Oban 14Year Old Malt Whisky

The Oban distillery was founded in 1794 by three brothers, Hugh, John and James Stevenson. The Stevenson family also founded the town of Oban. In 1883, the distillery was acquired by Walter Higgin. In 1898 the distillery was taken over by Oban & Aultmore-Glenlivet Ltd. Partly germinated barley is gently dried in a kiln where a light peat smoke gives the malt a distinctive character and taste. The result is the smoky, malty dryness in the favour and finish of this whisky. Quite malty and sweet opening, with a medium body and a generous dry finish with a hint of spiciness.

Singleton Of Dufftown 12Year Old

The sweet and fruity notes in this fine malt from Dufftown, at the heart of Speyside, are the product of using pure water from Highlandman John's well and traditional, slow distilling, long maturation in a unique balance of European and American Oak then gives it a smooth, richly satisfying taste.

Springbank 10Year Old Malt Whisky

Established in 1828 by Archibald Mitchell , Springbank distillery is Scotland's oldest independent distillery and to this day remains under the control of the Mitchell family who founded the distillery. Whilst bourbon casks are mainly used for maturation, allowing the distillery character to shine through, a number of sherry casks are also used for added body. Tastes from citrus fruits to pears and a hint of peat and then to further excite the palate a touch of smoke, vanilla essence, nutmeg, cinnamon and the salty tang we have come to expect from Springbank.

Talisker 10Year Old Malt Whisky

The only single malt from the Isle of Skye Talisker's soft, peaty process water is drawn from twenty-one underground springs that rise from Hawk Hill (Cnoc nan Speirag) beside the distillery. Matured in American oak bourbon casks with some European Oloroso sherry butts for double maturation.. Renowned for its peppery palate and light smoky finish it has an alluring, sweet, full-bodied spirit with a warming afterglow.

The Glenlivet 12Year Old Whisky

George Smith knew that Glenlivet was the perfect location in which to make whisky, which is why he built his distillery there in 1824. They have the three fundamental elements in the whisky-making process - spring water, copper stills and oak casks have remained unchanged. So have the skills have the people who make it. That is why the Glenlivet is as incomparable now as it was at the beginning. Subtle peatiness. Delicate. slightly sweet and fruity, with vanilla notes. Clean and well-balanced.

The Peat Monster Malt

This vatted malt was originally created by Compass Box for a New York customer who wanted a big, smoky, rich whisky. The lead distilleries in the mix are Caol Ila and Ardmore aged between 10 and 15 years old. After vatting the blend has been re-casked to allow the full flavours of the whiskies to come out. This one is big and peaty, with a smoky finish that never ends
