J & B Rare Scotch Whisky

It was created in the 1930s for when Prohibition in the United States was lifted to replace the illegal moonshine. In 1958 J&B became a regular in Las Vegas. It was enjoyed by many of the stars of the time such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr who featured the brand not only in their shows but also 'about town' in the evening. It has 42 different whiskies carefully blended together to create a subtle, smooth and complex flavour. The delicate balance is what gives J&B Rare its distinctive character. The heart of J&B Rare is formed by Speyside Malt Whiskies. They provide the fruity, fresh quality you can taste and give J&B its light colour. Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch Whisky

Up to 40 malts and grain whiskies make up the Black Label blend, all of which are at least 12 years old. Johnnie Walker contains older, smoother whiskies than most blended whiskies and a higher percentage of the more flavoursome malt element. The final blend is a combination of Speyside whiskies with a fair amount of smokier Talisker to produce a whisky that is characterful, smooth and high in quality. A smooth, medium-bodied blend with richness and a slight peatyness running through it.

Johnnie Walker Gold Label 18Year Old Whisky

A skilful fusion of rare aged whiskies inspired by the notes originally kept by Sir Alexander Walker, and crafted from only a small number of Scotland's most renowned distilleries each matured for a minimum of 18 years. Johnnie Walker Gold Label is perfect when served frozen, in a frozen glass and perhaps even served with a bitter chocolate dessert for a truly indulgent experience.  It has a full, round and deep nose with notes of soft raisins and toffee, fresh malt and light cream. An 18 year old whisky from Cardu distillery, it gives the strong yet smooth malt and oak flavours. Extra mature grain whiskies provide some of the lingering sweetness, whilst 18 year old Clynelish from Northern Highlands delivers the unusual aromatic creaminess.
