Tequila is an agave-based spirit made primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands (Los Altos) of the western Mexican state of Jalisco. The volcanic soil in the region surrounding Tequila is particularly well suited to the growing of the blue agave, and more than 300 million of the plants are harvested there each year. Mexican laws state that tequila can be produced only in the state of Jalisco and limited regions in the states of Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas.

Cuervo Tequila Especial

1758 José Antonio de Cuervo obtained land in Mexico to cultivate Agave plants from the King of Spain before it became an independent republic. Today Cuervo heir, Juan Beckmann, and his son work together to run the family business. The Beckmann name entered the Cuervo family when Juan’s great grandfather, then Germany’s ambassador to Mexico, married a Cuervo daughter. Jose Cuervo has conquered the world with its uniquepremium gold tequila made from Blue Agave, resulting in a distinctive special blend of Reposado and other high-quality aged Cuervo tequilas. Jose Cuervo Especial is exceptionally smooth tasting, with a hint of sweetness and a rich, well-balanced character of oak, spice and vanilla tones. It has a unique amber hue better known as gold.

Tequila Don Augustin Reposado

100% agave and rested for a minimum of 9 months in oak casks. The La Cava de Don Agustin Tequila has been proudly manufactured with refinement. Its exclusive presentation, whose attractiveness is based on its laborious handcrafting, is inherited with pride to the new generations.
